This is how you wear the blue eyeshadow in the Y2K style
Every trend comes back at some point: blue eyeshadow is back in fashion in 2023.

The blue eye shadow is celebrating its big beauty comeback. These three variants set the scene for the denim look on the eyes.
Taylor Swift (33) wears it on the cover of her current album, Kendall Jenner (27) posts the look on her Instagram channel: Blue eyeshadow is back, the Y2K hype continues on the eyelids. You can wear Blue Eyeshadow 2023 in a variety of ways. The main thing is that the blue around the eyes comes into its own. These are three possible looks for the eye area:
Washed denim
The denim look is now finding its way onto the eyelids. In this variant, shades of blue are used that are reminiscent of washed-out denim fabrics. The light blue tones are applied very prominently to the eyelids and highlighted with black mascara. Gentle rosy blush on the cheeks and glossy lip gloss complete the look. The washed denim eyeshadow goes perfectly with outfits with light-colored jeans.
Waterline
In this beauty look, the blue eye shadow is not applied on top, but on the bottom. So that the blue waterline on the lower eyelid comes into its own, a fine black eyeliner is drawn on the upper eyelid, and the lower eyelid is colored with a blue kajal. To round off the look, apply a lot of mascara to the upper lash line or work with fake lashes to create a voluminous look.
Loaded on the lid
This blue eyeshadow look is not for reserved beauty fans. The Loaded-on-the-lid trend is really thick. The blue eyeshadow is brushed onto the entire upper lid and really comes into its own. If you don’t like Y2K, you can work with matt nuances here, if you dare more, you can experiment with glittering blue eye shadow.
It becomes colorful on the eyelids
The make-up year 2023 will be really colorful thanks to the blue eyeshadow trend. The beauty looks presented can also be implemented with other colors such as a bright shade of orange or pink from the Viva Magenta color palette. The only important thing when using bright eyeshadow is that the rest of the make-up is as reserved and simple as possible. Bright colors meet naturalness and create a special charisma.
