1. Wake-up effect
Concealer is supposed to help us look awake and fresh. But if we have a ton of powder under our eyes, it won't work. Our insider tip: do not powder the concealer, or only powder where it could slip into the folds. So it looks a bit "wet", which makes us look fresher. Of course, you should take care with mascara on the lower lash line, as this can quickly settle on the creamy product. So: Just leave the lower eyelashes undone.
2. Cream instead of powder
Powdery highlighters often emphasize textured skin and most of them are not discreet. So if you prefer a subtle but incredibly fresh glow, you can use cream highlighters. And yes, you can also apply it over powder products. This works best with your finger because you can work in the product optimally without pushing the products underneath. In particular, colors that resemble your own skin color conjure up the most beautiful glow from within. You will love it!
3. Naturally blushed
The ultimate fresh, summery, sun kissed look doesn't need much. The secret is not necessarily in the bronzer, but in the rouge. If you trust the blush not only on the apple cheeks but also on the bridge of your nose – this will make your skin look slightly reddened as if you had been in the sun. A little of the blush may also be on the eyelids. In the end it looks really coherent and suuuuuuper fresh. This works best with terracotta, peach or pink tones.
4. Eyeliner for pros
Not every eye is made for an eyeliner. Anyone who has very little visible lid area knows what we're talking about. But that doesn't mean that you have to do without eyeliner completely. Instead of applying the liner along the entire lash line, you only apply it to the rear third and then pull a wing (which is of course optional). This makes the eye appear more open and not so depressed; the eyelashes are still visible and long. That's exactly how we want it!
5. Dewy Lids
Do you want to make your eye make-up a little bit special, but don't apply 50 eyeshadows? Then just take a liquid shimmer eyeshadow (ideally similar to your skin color in champagne, rose gold or bronze tones). You apply it with your finger (important!) Only to the middle of the eyelid. This gives the eyelids a dewy look and nobody would notice the product as an eyeshadow. It reflects slightly and looks more like your eyes are just naturally shining.
