In the “GALA Beautyprobe” we test the most exciting new products and technology gadgets. In June everything revolves around the wedding theme, which includes a new matte CC cream from It-Cosmetics and an ideal wedding perfume.

Product: “Your Skin but better CC+ Cream Oil Free Matte SPF 40 +” by iT Cosmetics

Promise: A multifunctional product that not only acts as a moisturizer, but also as an anti-aging serum, concealer, foundation and sunscreen all in one. Who needs numerous jars in their cupboard?
Optics: Nice enough to squeeze! The CC cream impresses with its summery, turquoise design and comes in a slim tube. Particularly practical: A small viewing window shows at a glance how much product is left.
Effect: The popular foundation is now available in a “matte” version that keeps your complexion shine-free even on sweaty summer days.As a guest who likes to dance, I need make-up that stays put despite the summer heat and movement. The integrated sun protection factor 40 also protects against UV rays, so that I feel comfortable all around and the lightness means I don’t look like I’m wearing a mask. Despite the matte finish, it remains soft and comfortable – a “second skin to go”.

Product: Biotherm Blue Peptides Uplift Cream SPF30
Price: approx. 90 euros
Promise: The cream’s ambitions are high: it promises not only adequate care, but also firmer skin in just four hours. The combination of collagen peptides and the Life Plankton that Biotherm is so famous for is supposed to contribute to the perfect regeneration of the skin.
Optics: The cream comes in a beautiful, fresh red jar with a silver lid. Special: The jar is made of 40% recycled glass, the lid is made of 100% PCR-recycled plastic.
Effect: Even though I didn’t check the time after four hours with a stopwatch, I can say with confidence that my skin feels fresh, cared for and perfectly firm afterwards. It also forms a great, rich base under makeup without looking too greasy. Just the way I like it!
Suitable for weddings because: I was already a big fan of the original Biotherm Blue Peptides Upliftt Cream. Now there is another factor: sun protection! This summer I’m going to four weddings, all of which are taking place outdoors. So protecting your skin while also making sure it looks great is the perfect companion.

Product: The Empreinte of Courregès

Promise: The Eau de Parfum promises a hint of bergamot in the top note, a little patchouli in the heart note and ambroxan in the base, combined in a unisex fragrance that is intended to last all day with its intensity.
Optics: The perfume sits comfortably in the hand and its red glass packaging fits perfectly with the wedding theme, where love is celebrated. The round knob that protects the spray head sits firmly on the bottle, but can be removed without much muscle power. The logo that is embedded in the perfume also gives the fragrance an elegant look.
Effect: If you follow the brand’s instructions and spray the perfume onto warm skin from a distance of 15-20 centimeters, the intensity of the scent will accompany you unobtrusively all day long without having to freshen it up. Perfect for your own wedding day, when you don’t have much time anyway!
Suitable for weddings because: The intense scent of L’Empreinte is something very special and has certainly not been detected by every nose. But I think the message that Courregès wants to express with the fragrance is particularly great: the perfume is meant to represent a kind of intersection of past and present that connects two people forever – just like the bond of marriage.

Product: EM Shape X Body Transformer

Promise: Magnetic fields are said to cause reactions in the body, which in turn can have a positive effect on various chemical and physical body processes. This means that the treatment is said to have the same effect as around 20,000 sit-ups.
Optics: What at first glance looks like a paddle tennis racket or a crazy X-ray machine are actually magnetic plates that can be attached to the stomach, legs or arms with a simple Velcro fastener. Crazy, but cool.
Effect: A session only takes 20 minutes and can therefore be perfectly integrated into your lunch break. And the best thing is that I do the 20,000 or so promised sit-ups lying down. Because it is precisely from this relaxed position that the muscles are best addressed by the magnetic stimuli. You can actually feel that you are training here. My abdominal muscles seem to be strained after the session – but without the sore muscles afterwards.
Suitable for weddings because: Every bride or every guest at a wedding is sure to have the thought “What does my stomach look like in this dress?” And even if I don’t want to let it influence me, for the good feeling and more comfort at a delicious wedding buffet, the device that can make my stomach appear much more defined in one to ten sessions is definitely the best.
