Because of insult – “pronunciation” was fought with the fists

A “debate” among six young people on December 4 in Gmunden, which ended in a fight, has now been cleared up in a joint police action. The Gmunden police were able to track down several suspects with the help of colleagues from Rohrbach and the JUKOB group (youth contact officers) of the Linz city police command and a tip from the Marchtrenk police.

A 16-year-old from Vienna, an 18-year-old from the Rohrbach district, a 17-year-old from Linz, a 17-year-old from the Rohrbach district and a 15-year-old from Linz physically attacked a 15-year-old from the Gmunden district. The perpetrators pushed him, hit him with hands and fists and kicked him. The victim suffered a split lip, but was not receiving medical treatment. The attackers then stole his Airpods and a cell phone case from a 14-year-old from the Gmunden district, who was also at the scene of the crime 15-year-old Gmundner and 18-year-old Mühlviertler for insulting a 13-year-old. For this purpose, the suspects traveled from Linz to Gmunden by train. Spectators filmed with their cell phones punishable act displayed. The 13-year-old and the 16-year-old filmed the crime. Some of the accused have confessed.
