At the request of SRF News, Erich Wenzinger, spokesman for the public prosecutor’s office in the canton of Zurich, writes: “Based on the police investigation against Brian Keller, the public prosecutor’s office initiated criminal proceedings on January 22, 2024 for public incitement to commit crimes or violence within the meaning of Article 259 of the Criminal Code opened.”
Because it is an official offense, the law enforcement authorities are officially obliged to investigate the allegations. There have been no arrests yet. The presumption of innocence applies until the proceedings have been legally concluded.
“Do you see that blade?”
Keller repeatedly drew attention to himself with Tiktok videos in which he threatened an apparently hated opponent. Last weekend he showed up in front of the man’s house and shouted loudly for him, which triggered a police operation.
To illustrate his threats, he published a Tiktok video in which he poses with a knife and directly threatens his opponent. “Do you see that blade?” He wants his blood.

He also makes threats in another video. “I want his head, I want to see how he suffers.” Keller insisted that it was just advertising for a boxing match.
On the loose for two months
Keller has been at large again for two months and is training for his life’s goal of becoming a world boxing champion. He regularly posts videos of his training sessions on social media.
In November, the Dielsdorf district court sentenced the 28-year-old to 2.5 years in prison for, among other things, bodily harm. This was triggered by several attacks on prison employees. However, the court did not consider a continuation of preventive detention to be appropriate. Keller, who had been in prison since 2016, was released two days after the verdict.
