The Nonntal retirement home near Donnenberg-Park was only reopened in March after extensive renovation with assisted living. Now the construction workers are moving in again. Because a connection between two pipes was apparently made incorrectly during the renovation, there was massive water damage. Because the mishap happened on the top floor, seven apartments are unusable. The residents had to move out, the responsible Gswb has already provided replacement apartments. The new renovation will probably last until February or March. The damage is around 340,000 euros and is covered by insurance.
