Communicating by message between Android smartphone and iPhone is very simple. However, some people regret not being able to use the iMessage functions available only on the Apple mobile operating system.
However, on Android, as long as you have activated RCS, you benefit from several advantages: receipts, group discussions, sharing of multimedia content, etc. And RCS isn’t limited to Android; the protocol is available for Apple… which will simply adapt it next year.
But if you already want to take advantage of the additional features associated with RCS or iMessage by moving from one platform to another, how do you do it? There is an app for that: you can use Beeper Mini.
Harmonize messaging apps
Beeper (the company) was born in 2021 and has set itself an ambitious goal: to bring together the chat applications of all smartphone owners within a single user interface. This objective was to allow Android and iOS users to benefit from the same functionalities.
Finally, Beeper has made this dream a reality, with its new Beeper Mini application. The app, which has just been launched, allows people using Android to chat with those who have iOS, taking advantage of all the features of iMessage, without having to log in with an Apple ID – which most Android users don’t even have that.
With this app, if someone with an iPhone sends you a message, or adds you to a chat group, your messages automatically turn blue.

This attempt was already initiated by Nothing… and it didn’t go very well. And, as I mentioned, Apple intends to bring RCS messaging to iPhones in 2024.
But, if you don’t want to wait, you can in the meantime use the Beeper Mini application, available on the Google Play Store, for $1.99 per month. Please note: the application is available on the French store, but it is currently only in English.
In its description, the app promises to bring blue bubbles to Android. In addition, your number will also appear in blue and all your conversations will be secured by end-to-end encryption.
However, let’s not forget that Apple has a reputation for doing everything to prevent third parties from accessing its features, so will this last? Given that Apple will soon adopt RCS, Beeper Mini could well escape it.
