In the debate about mandatory vaccinations, the acting Federal Labor Minister Hubertus Heil wants to take a big step before Christmas and implement mandatory vaccination for clinics and homes before the festival. “I think it is right that we take a first step before Christmas to ensure that there is a mandatory vaccination, for example in clinics, in nursing, elderly and disabled facilities,” said the SPD politician of “Bild am Sonntag”. He also advocates a general compulsory vaccination.
According to information from Spiegel, the Federal Ministry of Health recently submitted specific proposals for compulsory corona vaccination for employees in nursing homes and clinics. The acting Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn was aiming for a mandatory vaccination for employees in nursing homes and clinics with a transition period.
