A few weeks before the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the KingdomNintendo wants to rekindle interest around Breath of the Wildoffering his explorer’s guide.
Despite communication reduced to a minimum, the output of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom fast approaching. It will be May 12, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Until then, you can dive back into the world of Hyrule: Nintendo offers the explorer’s guide to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildthe preceding game Tears of the Kingdom.
The 96 pages are available at this address in PDF (English only), spotted Polygon in an article published on March 21. This explorer’s guide was previously offered to those who had opted for a special edition of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild — which made it pay off.
How Nintendo wants to prepare us for the next Zelda
It is not a complete compendium that will inform you of all the secrets of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This explorer’s guide lives up to its name: the idea is to provide some tips to help players better experience the adventure, which can be valuable given the difficulty of the experience. It will be above all a way to refresh your memory without redoing the whole game.
There is a big focus on the first area of the game (the Prelude Plateau), on weapons, on certain enemies or even on very useful movements. Note that there are pages missing (73-84), for inexplicable reasons. Are you afraid of spoilers? Portions likely to disclose key details are explicitly marked — “ Attention explorers! If you don’t want to see any story details, just go straight to page 94 “, can we read.
There are a little less than two months left to (re)play Breath of the Wild in order to prepare for Tears of the Kingdom. As the game was released in 2017, time is starting to get very long and your memory is probably failing you.
