“VDo you plan to dress a little differently in the future? asks the judge bluntly, before weighing her words: “I’m not talking about removing the veil…”

Opposite her, a woman in her thirties, black scarf on her head, long black dress revealing new sneakers. Looking surprised, she turns to the interpreter and responds very spontaneously:

– “I like these clothes!” I have always dressed like this. »

– “Your daughter (aged 6 months, editor’s note), is she going to school? continues the president.

We are at the National Court of Asylum (CNDA), in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis), in one of the 32 rooms of this administrative court, the first in France with more than 50,000 decisions rendered by year.

– ” Yes ! also answers…
