The first episode of season 18 of Beijing Express was broadcast and it marked the elimination of the inseparable sisters, Inès and Lola. This bad news is all the more tragic because they had a very particular reason for wanting to stay until the end of the adventure.
Season 18 of Beijing Express: in the footsteps of the golden tiger started this Thursday, February 8 on M6 and it has already marked the elimination of a first pair. Despite their motivation, the inseparable sisters Inès and Lola were eliminated at the end of the final duel against Ryad and Louison at the end of the first stage. An elimination all the more difficult for the pair to endure as they had a very special link with the route of this season of Beijing Express and in particular the country of the final sprint. It is in fact at Vietnam that this season is going to end, country where Inès and Lola both come from.
The sisters were adopted a few years apart by the same family and therefore had the chance to meet again. Very close to their parents, Inès and Lola still know their origins and have forged a special bond with Vietnam. As they explained to Stéphane Rotenberg after their elimination, they found it hard to believe that this season of Beijing Express was going to end in Vietnam. “Our parents told us that maybe this year it would be Vietnam, and luckily it was. We thought it was a great gift and that we had to get even more high than we wanted. But we came across stronger ones. And it doesn’t matter, we’ll go back outside of Beijing Express. It’s like that, it’s destiny” Lola explained.
A new pair will join the adventure
A beautiful story which could have ended better but which allowed Inès and Lola to continue strengthen the obvious bond that unites them. The two sisters are aware of how lucky they are to have found each other and intend to take advantage of it to continue having adventures together. For all the other pairs, Beijing Express continues with stages that promise to test their nerves. After a complicated first stage which marked the abandonment of the Belgian twin brothers Nathan and Brandon, the candidates still in the race will also be joined by a new pair at the start of the second stage in order to replace them.
