Bela B: That's his plan for a better world

In an interview, the drummer of Die Ärzte has now revealed what his two-point plan to save the world would look like.

In a new interview, Bela B (57), founding member and drummer of Die Doctors, spoke about his commitment to sea rescue, his views on politics talk shows and his ideas for saving the world.

Accordingly, "exactly two things are needed that can save this world. First of all, many more women have to get into government and management positions because the sole rule of white old men leads us nowhere," the musician told "Jetzt.de" His hope is also directed towards the youth: "The second is young people who hate lobbying and climate change and racism." Should those two things change, "then this world will definitely have a chance to continue."

While the musician speaks out loudly for political issues such as sea rescue, he says he would be hesitant about going to a political talk show. He doesn't believe that he can "expose" a professional politician in front of the camera. Instead he would have another suggestion for Anne Will and Co's guest lists: "I am of the opinion that more professionals should appear on political talk shows who are committed to their own agenda and do not have to campaign."

Die Ärzte's music has proven to be more consistent than most talk show appearances anyway. Like the anti-Nazi song "Schrei nach Liebe", released in 1993, about which Bela says today: "The song is bigger than us. It came deep from Farins (57) and my heart. Even if we are saddened that that The song doesn't lose its relevance – that's annoying. "
