According to eyewitness reports, they are currently on the popular Croatian island of Mljet, about 30 kilometers northwest of Dubrovnik.

“I heard a voice that I knew. And I recognized the queen straight away,” reports a Belgian, who was also vacationing there, about his experience, to the daily newspaper “Het Laatste Nieuws”. Some snaps, which the tourist quickly snapped, prove that the casually dressed royal couple was accompanied by their children, Princess Elisabeth, 20, Prince Gabriel, 18, Prince Emmanuel, 16, and Princess Eléonore, 14. However, the palace is silent about the Belgian royal family’s unusual holiday destination: “We do not explain their private trips.”

Previously, Prince Oscar attended Lilla Kvikkjokk, a Montessori preschool run as a parents’ cooperative. Now, in autumn, a new chapter in the life of the Mini-Royal begins, in which he will certainly be supported by his big sister.

Prince Oscar and Princess Estelle: Secret vacation with a pampering factor

Dreamlike summer holidays lie behind Prince Oscar, 6, and Princess Estelle, 10! The two mini royals not only vacationed on the island of Öland, they are said to have enjoyed time together with their grandparents Ewa and Olle Westling, both 77. Prince Daniel’s parents, 48, live in Ockelbo, but have a tranquil family farm a few kilometers away in Acktjära. Olle Westling’s ancestors lived in the old soldiers’ village, according to the magazine “Svensk Damtidning”. The courtyard is said to have been a place during the Corona crisis where Princess Victoria, 45, and her small family could meet with the Westlings outside at a distance.

During such family gatherings, Ewa and Olle live in the red main house, while the small log cabin is available to their son and his gang. Even the security police accompanying the Swedish royals are housed in their own little house on the property. For Oscar and Estelle, the days with their grandparents must have been a celebration. Grandma and Grandpa are simply the best at pampering!

Tessy Antony-de Nassau: Son Theodor has grown up quite a bit

The former Princess of Luxembourg, Tessy Antony-de Nassau, 36, was a guest at a wedding in Madrid with her husband Frank Floessel. But it wasn’t her colorfully printed summer dress that was the eye-catcher of the day, but another little guest: Baby Theodor, the almost one-year-old pride of the couple. The ex-wife of Prince Louis of Luxembourg, 36, now shows a number of cute shots with stepdaughter Julia, her Frank and the little bundle of joy in a video on Instagram.

To Louis Armstrong’s song “What a Wonderful World” the snapshots are played almost every second. Tessy seems overjoyed, writes: “Here in Madrid there is love in the air” – and not just between the entrepreneur and her husband, whom she married in July 2021. Little son Theodor also makes her heart skip a beat in his brown two-piece suit and sun hat. Hearts are diligently distributed in the comment column Her followers are also “in love with this beautiful baby”.

After the boarding school scandal, Princess Mary is finally happy again

It’s been a busy few months behind Princess Mary, 50, and Prince Frederik, 54. After former students at Herlufsholm boarding school, which Prince Christian, 16, attended until recently, reported violence and bullying at the facility, public pressure grew the crown prince couple to comment on the scandal and to take their son out of school. Finally, on August 7, the Danish court announced that the royal teenager would attend a different high school after the summer holidays.

The hardships brought on by the scandal seemed to continue to weigh on the Danish royal family. Now, however, Princess Mary is in a good mood and relaxed again for the first time. At the FEI World Championships in Herning, she watched the various equestrian disciplines with a good laugh. With her in her luggage: her best friends. Looks like the women had a great day together – which Mary must have put to good use.

King Willem-Alexander must slide over! Now Princess Amalia takes the wheel

It is an important step in the life of many young adults: the driving test. Awaited with fear by some, for others it is the fulfillment of a great dream. Now Princess Amalia, 18, can proudly claim to have mastered this stage. As the nobility expert Annemarie de Kunder reports, Amalia should have her driver’s license in her pocket.

Back in April 2021, King Willem-Alexander’s daughter, 55, admitted she was taking driving lessons. However, the pandemic thwarted smooth and speedy participation. “I’ve already had a driving lesson. All the others have been cancelled,” Amalia regretted last year. Now the princess could complete the exam – and at exactly the right time. The 18-year-old will soon start her studies in Amsterdam. With her own car, Amalia could easily travel to Huis ten Bosch Castle to visit her family.

However, it is not known whether the Crown Princess has her own vehicle. It would certainly be the culmination of her passed exam and at the same time another step towards independence.

Prince Joachim raves about his eldest’s girlfriend

Prince Nikolai, 22, and Benedikte Thoustrup have been a couple for quite a while. But the student and young entrepreneur has not yet appeared in public with his family. Nevertheless, the love of the eldest son of Prince Joachim, 53, and his ex-wife Countess Alexandra von Frederiksbork, 58, has already made an appearance – and apparently left an impression.

“I’ve met Benedikte many times,” Joachim revealed when asked by a reporter from the magazine “Billed Bladet” during an interview at the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix 2022. And then Princess Marie’s husband, 46, suddenly became enthusiastic – but not without criticism to the press: “She’s a really nice girl and I think the two should be allowed to be lovers together, without one side or the other or the tenth or twentieth side saying anything about it. But she’s really sweet.” For once, this quote should have pleased the son and his sweetheart while reading the newspaper in the morning.

Prince Christian: That will change for him now

In autumn, Prince Christian, 16, will not only start a new school year, but also a completely new everyday life. Because as his parents Prince Frederik, 54, and Princess Mary, 50, announced after a long hesitation in a statement on August 7, 2022, their son will attend the Ordrup Gymnasium in Gentofte in the future. Previously, the Danish crown prince couple had to take Christian away from the Herlufsholm boarding school after a major abuse scandal, which also happened very hesitantly, to the displeasure of the people.

For a year he lived in the elite school. That’s history now. Because with the change of school, the heir to the throne moves back home to Amalienborg Palace. Certainly a change for the prince, because at the boarding school he was not surrounded by his family for the first time, but by new friends with whom he even shared the dormitory. Now Christian is returning to his siblings, for whom he is a role model as the eldest. And Princess Mary experiences what it’s like to have two teenagers around again. Because even Princess Isabella, 15, will not move to Herlufsholm as planned from autumn, but that

Ordrup Gymnasium in Gentofte has an excellent reputation, according to the Danish tabloid Billed Bladet. Among other things, there is an anti-bullying program there, which will be important to the crown prince couple after the revelations about Herlufsholm. Diverse sporting opportunities and a good social environment with many festivals round off what the school has to offer.
