PARIS, April 23 (Reuters) – Belgian singer Arno, stage name of Arnold Hintjens, has died aged 72, his agent Filip De Groote said on Saturday.
“‘Damn, damn It’s really good We are still All Europeans’ Arno, your poetry, your tender mocking voice and your freedom will never cease to be missed”, wrote the French Minister of Culture, Roselyne Bachelot , on Twitter.
The singer had been suffering from pancreatic cancer since the end of 2019. (Rig by Camille Raynaud)
