The town of Beussent, a small village located not far from Le Touquet in Pas-de-Calais, was in mourning on Wednesday January 28, 2024. That day, a certain Nicolas H. told the authorities that he had found the bloodied body of his partner Alicia at their home. Returning home in the morning after a visit to the bakery, the victim’s companion mentioned a possible burglary that had gone wrong. An investigation was then opened and entrusted to the Lille research section. During the investigations, gray areas appeared in Nicolas H.’s story, which led this 30-year-old man to be suspected of the murder of his partner. According to information revealed by The Parisian Tuesday March 12, 2024, he was taken into custody by investigators, before confessing everything to them. Actually, Nicolas H. admitted to having premeditated the murder of Alicia, whose life he had shared for eight years now. Following his confession, the suspect was brought before an investigating judge at the Boulogne-sur-Mer court, and was indicted for murder.
