A cleaning kit from Belkin
It’s a fact, if we generally take care to clean our smartphones, we tend (and it’s quite paradoxical) to neglect our wireless headphones a little more. The latter, very often equipped with very compact grids and rubber tips, tend to retain the earwax produced by the ears. This can ultimately affect the audio performance, but also the life of the product.
Also, the Belkin props man offers a ” AirPods cleaning kit which promises to come and restore the mesh covering, to find not only brand new AirPods, but also maximum acoustic performance.
Concretely, the kit is supplied with a liquid to be deposited on the grids of the AirPods, which must be left to act for 60 seconds. From then on, we use a small brush to dislodge the impurities, then we use a specific gel to come and collect these same impurities.
On its website, Belkin takes care to specify that its “ AirPods cleaning kit is compatible with the 3rd generation AirPods, but also the first and second generation AirPods.
