Model celebrates five months of abstinence from alcohol with Las Vegas trip

Bella Hadid hasn’t touched a drop of alcohol in five months. The model rewarded herself with a trip to Las Vegas.
“Five months alcohol-free,” proclaims a proud Bella Hadid (26) on her TikTok channel. In the accompanying video, the model can be seen in a good mood in a Las Vegas casino. A series of photos with an identical caption shows the 26-year-old just as beaming in a tight, red dress with wide sleeves.
A few months ago, Hadid, who suffers from anxiety, would hardly have believed that she could feel so good without alcohol in her blood. “I drank a lot. I loved alcohol,” she revealed last year in an interview with “Instyle”. Her dependence had gone so far “that I even started canceling evenings because I felt like I couldn’t control myself”.

Bella Hadid was arrested for drunk driving in 2014. She was given six months probation plus 25 hours of community service and 20 hours of mandatory AA meetings. She also had to give up her driver’s license for a year.
For the time being, however, the incident did not change the excessive lifestyle of the model. Only after a doctor showed her the effects of alcohol on the brain did it become “much more difficult” to “pick up the glass”. According to Hadid, he no longer feels the need to drink alcohol.
