Belle and Sébastien, the adventure continues: Christian Duguay was unaware of the existence of the first film
During the promotion of Belle and Sébastien: the adventure continues, Christian Duguay had explained that he did not know that a first part had been shot when his agent told him that the producers of the film wanted to meet him. In contrast, he was very familiar with the series whose first feature film was the cinematic adaptation. It is the ode to nature, and the sensitive revelation of the psychology of the little boy embodied by Félix Bossuet, which pushed the filmmaker to embark on the adventure of this sequel.
