Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been back on track for two weeks. Allegedly Affleck has been ensnaring his ex-fiancée for much longer.

After Jennifer Lopez (51, “On the Floor”) and Ben Affleck (48, “Good Will Hunting”) spent the past weekend together, the rumor mill is boiling. For about two weeks there have been rumors of a love comeback between the US superstar and the Oscar winner. As the US celebrity portal “TMZ” now reports, Affleck is said to have started to ensnare Lopez much earlier.

The 48-year-old is said to have written numerous emails to his ex-fiancée when she was in front of the camera for the film “Shotgun Wedding” in the Dominican Republic in February. An insider claims to have revealed to the site that the emails are said to have been much more than just a harmless exchange between two friends. Messages had been exchanged by the end of April, when filming was finished, it said. But it should not have come to a meeting.

The spicy thing about it: In February Lopez was still engaged to the former professional baseball player Alex Rodriguez (45). It was only in mid-April that they declared their relationship to have failed in a joint statement.

One would be happy …

A mutual friend would at least be happy about a love comeback of the two: Matt Damon (50). This was on Tuesday morning (May 11th) switched to the “Today Show” via video – and was promptly squeezed out by the moderators. “I just heard it for the first time,” Damon initially dismisses, but it is a “fascinating” message. “I hope it’s true. I love them both. That would be fantastic,” Damon concluded.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were a couple from 2002 to 2004 and even engaged.
