“Summer House” couple shocked after break-in
Ben and Sissi Melzer report on Instagram that they have become victims of burglars.

Reality TV stars Ben and Sissi Melzer experienced an “absolute nightmare”. Their home was broken into.
Ben Melzer (37) and his wife Sissi (28) have fallen victim to one or more burglars. The reality TV couple, known from “Das Sommerhaus der Stars” among other things, reported on Instagram about the traumatic experience. In their stories, both share: “The last few days have been an absolute nightmare for us.”
Then the couple tells what exactly happened. The two were initially at a concert. When they opened the door to their home, “our hearts stopped for a moment – our house had been broken into.” For them, it is “difficult to put into words how helpless you feel in that moment. As if someone had not only broken into our home, but also into our lives.”
Ben and Sissi Melzer won’t let themselves be defeated
The two will probably need a while to process what they have experienced. However, the couple have decided “that we will not let this get us down.” Ben and Sissi Melzer want to look to the future and return to their routines. They want to focus “on something positive” and take their followers with them.
They do not say which valuables were stolen. However, they do warn their fans that “it is naive to think: something like this won’t happen to me/us”. They therefore advise others to make an appointment with the police “to protect yourself sufficiently and to take precautions so that hopefully this never happens to you”.
Ben and his Sissi, the younger sister of former “Bachelorette” Anna Hofbauer (36), took part in the “Sommerhaus der Stars” in 2021 and reached the final. There, the two were defeated by Lars Steinhöfel (38) and Dominik Schmitt.
