Married to Stéphanie since 2010, Bénabar is the proud father of two children, Manolo and Ludmilla.
For nearly twenty years, Bénabar has been a man in love. It was in October 2010 that the interpreter of Butterfly Effect married Stéphanie, met a few years earlier in Brussels where they both resided. But before they say “yes”, the lovers had already given birth to two beautiful children. The first, born in 2004, is a boy and his name is manolo. The second, born in 2009, is a girl who responds to the sweet first name of Ludmila.
In February 2021, in the columns of Sunday newspaperBénabar evoked his family and in particular his biggest fear which concerns his two children. “I’m cowardly about a lot of things. I need a lot of benchmarks. I like stories of love and friendship to be long-term. My current anxiety is that my children are leaving home. . I know it’s in the order of things, but it gives me cold sweats”, confided the singer. Bruno Nicolini, of his real name, also evoked the beginnings in the music of Manolo, now of age: “He likes the music of fifties and he learned the guitar on songs by Delpech and Renaud. I don’t want it in the plunger. We are very careful about that with his mother. We don’t want to disturb his beginnings as a musician”.

Still in February 2021, in an interview he gave us, Bénabar also slipped a few words about the desires of his son, Manolo. “With my son, it’s resolved: he wants to become a musician. He is learning the guitar. ‘You stopped at the baccalaureate, he told me. Why not me ?’ Well we pay him teachers but he has to account. He must work”, had confided the singer. As for Ludmilla? Twelve years old, the young girl is still “too young to talk about it”.
