(CercleFinance.com) – The manufacturer of pleasure boats Beneteau announces that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Trigano for the sale of its housing activity, specializing in the manufacture of mobile homes in particular for the outdoor hotel sector.
The operation would concern the takeover of its entire subsidiary BIO Habitat, including the O’hara, IRM and Coco Sweet brands, as well as all of its employees in France and Italy, and its current management team.
This disposal project demonstrates Beneteau’s desire to focus its development on its historical core business. Its completion, subject in particular to the approvals of the competition authorities, could take place by the end of the 2023 financial year.
