Benjamin Griveaux attended Sunday at the Champ-de-Mars the re-election of the President of the Republic, in the company of his wife and two of their children.

He immortalized the moment with a photo posted on Instagram: “My two eldest on the front line last night… Macron, season 2”, he wrote in the caption. “They didn’t know it was impossible…so they (re)did it,” he wrote on Twitter to salute Emmanuel Macron’s success at the polls.

In 2017, he formed with the “Mormons”, a band of techno thirtysomethings, the close guard of candidate Macron. A leading player in the five-year term, the short-lived candidate for mayor of Paris was involved in spite of himself in one of his crises. In February 2020, he saw his municipal campaign stopped dead after the broadcast of intimate videos of him. He was replaced at short notice by Agnès Buzyn, who was then Minister of Health. He has since left politics, giving up his seat as a deputy in May 2021, to devote himself to an “entrepreneurial project”.
