Shortly thereafter, Ben and Sissi, who is now also called Melzer, went on to Santorini. On the Greek island, they said “yes” a second time at a free wedding. Ben Melzer and Sissi Hofbauer have become “The Melzers”! On Saturday evening, May 20, 2023, at 5 p.m. local time, Ben and Sissi exchanged vows during a picturesque sunset. The two, who run a wedding stationery shop, told GALA last year that they wanted “something magical” for their big day. Said and done. In front of the 50 most important people in their lives, the reality TV stars swore their eternal love in the dreamlike setting of Santorini during the golden hour. Hardly a dry eye remained at the emotional ceremony.

“I’ve arrived! 1000 percent. When I look at Mrs. Melzer, that’s all I can do!” Says Ben Melzer to GALA shortly after the wedding. “Every girl, every woman dreams of this day early on. And my wait is over. I couldn’t be happier. Ben is the love of my life,” enthuses Sissi.

After the wedding ceremony in the Hotel Rocabella and a subsequent 6-course dinner, we went on to a secret party location. Small fireworks were set off upon the arrival of the newlyweds. The party went on until 5 a.m., the bridal couple reveals to GALA. The exclusive pictures of the celebration prove how much fun Ben and Sissi had. “The Melzers” will now stay on the island for a week before returning to Germany.

Even the civil marriage was not lacking in magic

On May 17, Sissi and Benjamin walked down the aisle in Recklinghausen, North Rhine-Westphalia. On their Instagram accounts, the two uploaded an adorable video of the highlights of their civil wedding. Sissi wore a white floor-length off-the-shoulder dress and a long veil. Probably the most moving moment in the clip: the moment when Ben sees his sweetheart in her wedding dress for the first time – pure goosebumps!

As the author of “Endlich Ben” previously revealed, Sissi’s mother Inge, who is a registrar, gave a touching speech at the ceremony. “Unfortunately, she’s not allowed to do the official part, but the heart of it – I already have a lump in my throat when I think about it,” Ben enthused on his Instagram story on the morning of the marriage. After the civil wedding and subsequent celebration, the newlywed couple went to the airport to fly to Santorini. Now Sissi and Ben Melzer have sealed their marriage vows a second time.
