Still according to “Le Point”, indications from the neighborhood and the wife of the former presidential candidate made it possible to quickly find the aggressor, an alcoholic waiter that day who “would live or frequent the same neighborhood as the Hamon couple.

Aged 54, he went to an immediate appearance on Monday for acts of threat of crime or offense against a public elected official and was placed under judicial supervision.

His trial is scheduled for May 16, the prosecution said.
