The Berlinale has announced more detailed planning for this year's event. In 2021 the festival consists of an "Industry Event" from March 1st to 5th – for industry representatives and accredited press – as well as a "Summer Special" from June 9th to 20th, at which the Berlinale audience in the presence of the filmmakers Can see most of the film selection. The award ceremony at the 71st Berlinale is also divided into two parts this year: the winners will be announced at the Industry Event, the awards ceremony will take place in front of the audience of the Summer Special.

There should not be a jury chair.
