MILAN June 9 (Reuters) – Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has been hospitalized again in Milan for clinical examinations linked to chronic leukaemia, three weeks after leaving San Raffaele hospital with a lung infection.

“Silvio Berlusconi is currently at San Raffaele Hospital to carry out planned examinations in connection with his known hematological pathology,” the establishment said. These examinations are not linked to “any critical condition”, he said.

Silvio Berlusconi, aged 86, had been admitted in emergency to San Raffaele on April 5 and left the establishment on May 19. (Written by Federica Urso, French version Jean-Stéphane Brosse, edited by Kate Entringer)
