At the end of this month, if the parliamentarians do not oppose it by three-fifths of the competent committees, you will be appointed by the President of the Republic to head EDF.
You are expected.
It is up to you in the short term to keep the commitment made this summer by your predecessor Jean-Bernard Lévy to make 40 GW of nuclear capacity available on 1er December and 50 GW on 1er January. For the medium and long term, you will have to make possible the largest energy investment plan in France for half a century with the planned construction of a new EPR park.
To put it simply, your mission is for France to get through this winter and not far from a hundred others. It will obviously be much more complicated.
