Xiaomi continues to improve in this market in which it was not necessarily expected. And of course, the manufacturer always aims to reduce costs while offering a more than satisfactory experience for ordinary mortals.
So between the Mi TV Q1, which offers everything you expect from a good panel on paper: HDR10+ and Dolby Vision compatibility, HDMI 2.1 with VRR at 100 Hz… But everything is of course not so wonderful, and some concessions were made to hold its price. How much distance do I need with my 75 inch TV?
The setback rule for TVs is quite simple: you should follow 4.5cm of setback for every inch on your screen. For a 75-inch screen, it is therefore recommended to have at least 3 meters of distance from your screen.
Pay attention to the layout of your room. Do you have enough hindsight? Do you have a wall to hang it on? Are there reflections at certain times of the day or night? Then what you want to do with it. If you play, promote the presence of HDMI 2.1 compatibility for example. Finally, it is better to favor OLED screens for better rendering of blacks, with the highest possible peak of brightness so that the HDR rendering is convincing.
Which TV interface is the best?
Android TV will tend to be the most versatile. LG’s WebOS is also widely acclaimed for its ease of use. The other interfaces, however, remain very correct and will not cause you any problems in use, although they may be a bit less comfortable.
