Better Call Saul, season 6: the broadcast date revealed

The “Better Call Saul” series is coming to an end. Season 6, which will be the last, will be divided into two parts, with a first burst of episodes to discover in France from April 19 on Netflix.

The first two episodes will be available the same day, and the next 5 will be uploaded weekly. Part 2 will debut on July 12, concluding this Breaking Bad spin-off launched in 2015, which some fans believe managed to surpass the original in terms of narrative quality. Which was no mean feat.

This final chapter will put an end to the complex transformation of its main character, Jimmy McGill, into a lawyer helping criminals of all kinds, and who calls himself Saul Goodman. Season 6 will explore how he will serve the cartel led by Gus Fring, and the repercussions this will have on his personal life, including his relationship with Kim, who is going through her own identity crisis.

“To me, this is the most ambitious, surprising, and, yes, emotionally challenging season we’ve done,” showrunner Peter Gould said of it. The American channel AMC, which broadcasts the series across the Atlantic, has however announced the launch of new projects around Better Call Saul, in particular an animated series called “Slippin Jimmy”, a digital series called “Cooper’s Bar” with actress Rhea Seehorn (who plays Kim), and new episodes of “Better Call Saul Employee Training Video”, reports the American site Variety.
