Betty White died shortly before her 100th birthday on January 17th. The planned celebrations in her honor should still take place.

Betty White would have turned 100 on January 17, 2022. But the popular star died shortly before the turn of the year, as her manager announced. According to the US media, the celebration scheduled for her special day will still take place. It is all the more important now to “give all the people who have loved you an opportunity to celebrate their lives”, the organizers are quoted by “Deadline”.

This should happen as planned with the documentary “Betty White: 100 Years Young”, which will only be shown in numerous cinemas in the USA on January 17th. It shows the most important stages in White’s career, from “Golden Girls” to “Saturday Night Live” to her beginnings on black and white television. The viewers also learn a lot about their private life, as well as about their tireless commitment to animal welfare.

Well-known companions and friends also have their say. According to “Deadline” this will include Ryan Reynolds (45), Clint Eastwood (91), Morgan Freeman (84), Robert Redford (85) and Jay Leno (71), to name just a few.
