An hour later, we heard another. We heard a siren again around noon.

The ex-Monegasque is cloistered at home, with a teammate, Samba Diallo, aged 19, Senegalese international U20 left winger, while waiting for instructions from the embassy. The two men live in a district of Kiev which was not affected by the evacuations. “We are locked in our apartment”, he reports. The two footballers seem to be living the situation rather calmly. “We are safe, he assures. We are in a good part of Kiev, Lipki.” On the recommendations of the embassy, ​​they took their precautions: “We were told to stay at your place and stock up. Yesterday (Wednesday), we bought pasta, rice, water”explains Noa Behar.

Noa Nehar: “It’s a bit complicated to leave”

Currently, the two footballers are waiting instructions from the embassy to be able to return to their country. “We had asked the president to leave, but he didn’t want to because there were the Youth League matches, advance the player. And there, he said that we could, it delayed the fact that we could leave a little. It was starting to talk, the war was already starting on the border, civilians were killed in Russia. We felt it was happening.” And to add: “There are traffic jams everywhere because everyone wants to leave the city, the trains are full and the airport is closed. It’s a bit complicated to leave.” Noa Nehar is waiting for news from her agent. “We’ll see what they tell us, he continues. We are waiting for our agents to tell us what to do, if we take a train to go to Poland or if the embassy finds us a slot so that we can leave and that we can find a flight that takes us back to France.”
