Between inflation and recession: US central bank has to raise interest rates

Between inflation and recession
US Federal Reserve has to raise interest rates

It’s a fine line that the US Federal Reserve has to walk when it comes to interest rate policy. On the one hand, there is inflation, which is felt by all citizens and is also increasingly presenting companies with challenges. On the other hand, there is the economy, which is still booming in the USA but could be choked off by excessively drastic interest rate measures.
