You find that there is not enough stuff on Netflix lately ? If the firm keeps its commitments, there should be plenty to do in 2024, particularly for fans of fantasy, science fiction and even video games.

From November 6 to 12, Netflix made a series of project announcements during its annual Geeked Week. A first part has already been relayed on Clubic (notably the announcements ofArcana, Avatar or The Umbrella Academy), but here is a second slew of video games, series and films that you will probably want to watch if you recognize yourself in the core target of this event.

Manga fans can enjoy a first glimpse of the live-action adaptation of Yu Yu Hakusho. Available on Netflix “from” December 14 (would a weekly broadcast have been chosen?), the work follows a teenager who, after his death, becomes a detective of spirits to potentially come back to life.

…and some lighter teasers

Let’s stay in the world of ghosts with the announcement of Dead Boy Detectives. Located in the same universe as Sandman (of which we are awaiting season 2) and based on the writings of Neil Gaiman, the series follows two deceased teenagers. They try to solve paranormal cases and escape evil witches, Hell and Death itself. “ Coming soon. »

Truce of series and direction the film The Lady and the Dragon worn by Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things). Expected for 2024, this feature film also directed by Robin Wright has the following synopsis: “ A docile young woman agrees to marry a handsome prince and realizes that the royal family has chosen to sacrifice her in repayment of an old debt. Thrown into a cave housing a fire-breathing dragon, she will only be able to count on her intelligence and courage to survive “.

Fans of fantasy will probably also appreciate the announcement of The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep, a second animated film set in the world of the famous Witcher. The latter will also be dubbed by Doug Cockle, the actor who already lends his voice to Geralt in The Witcher 3. Anya Chalotra and Joey Batey, from the live-action series, will also provide voices in their roles as Yennefer and Dandelion. See you in 2024.

Finally, in addition to the video game announcements already listed previously, Netflix announced the arrivals next year of Katana Zero, of Hades (on iOS) and Braid: Anniversary Edition to its catalog. The enriched version of Jonathan Blow’s cult game, expected on April 30 on computer, consoles and mobile, will benefit from new puzzles, improved graphics in 4K, a revamped audio part and audio commentaries.
