First statement after a fight on New Year’s Eve

After being involved in a fight on New Year’s Eve, “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Ian Ziering has spoken out for the first time.
The American actor Ian Ziering (59), known from the cult teen series “Beverly Hills, 90210”, has spoken out for the first time about the fight in which he was involved on New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles. A video, which can be seen on the US celebrity portal “TMZ”, shows Ziering getting out of his car on December 31, 2023 after a minibike driver apparently hit or damaged it. A whole group of motorcyclists then hit the actor as a group. He now described the incident on Instagram as “alarming”.

“Yesterday I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of people on minibikes,” the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star begins his statement on his official Instagram channel. He adds: “While I was stuck in traffic, my car was aggressively hit by one of these drivers, resulting in a disturbing confrontation. To assess the damage, I got out of my car. This action unfortunately escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated for my own protection.”
On another video, which is also available from “TMZ”., the actor, also known from the “Sharknado” film series, can be seen comforting his 12-year-old daughter, who was in the car with the star when the fight occurred. In his Instagram post, Ziering is “relieved” that both he and his daughter Mia were uninjured in the incident.
Nevertheless, the star is “very concerned about the growing audacity of such groups disrupting public safety and peace.” Ziering cannot accept such behavior “as a citizen and father.” In this context, he calls on the law enforcement authorities in his hometown of Los Angeles to “take decisive action against this lawlessness” so that “our streets are safe for everyone.”
According to TMZ, Los Angeles police are currently investigating the altercation that occurred on New Year’s Eve. As of now, no one has been arrested in this matter. Ziering is listed as a victim in the police report, although he was also able to throw a few punches at his attackers during the horrific incident.
