(CercleFinance.com) – Bic has announced the finalization of its share buyback program with an ESG component, announced and started in January 2022, a program carried out by BNP Paribas Exane on the basis of the authorization granted by the general meeting of the May 19, 2021.
Over the period from January 24 to December 22, 725,703 shares were bought back at an average price of 53.98 euros, ie a total amount of 39.2 million euros. A capital reduction by cancellation of these shares will take effect on December 27.
A portion of the outperformance between the purchase price and the volume-weighted average price over the execution period, will be allocated to the global research center Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab, and the BIC Corporate Foundation for Education.
