game US federal judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is set to become the first African-American woman to be appointed to the US Supreme Court. As American media consistently report, President Joe Biden will nominate the 51-year-old lawyer for the Supreme Court.

Should Jackson be confirmed by the Senate, she would succeed progressive constitutional judge Stephen Breyer. The 83-year-old has been a Supreme Court Justice since 1994 and will step down from his post in the summer.
