WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Joe Biden said on Friday he would not meet one-on-one with Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman when he visits Saudi Arabia next month, although he will see him as part of a an “international meeting”.
“I’m not going to meet MBS. I’m going to attend an international meeting, and he will take part in it,” replied the American president to journalists who questioned him on how he intended to handle the question of the assassination in 2020 of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, attributed by US intelligence services to the crown prince.
