“Big Brother” is back! After the 13th season in 2020 only brought mediocre ratings for Sat.1, some changes were made for season 14. In addition to a weekly show on television, you can also expect a 24-hour live stream on Joyn for the full 100 days that the show will last.
17 candidates will move into the container on March 4, 2024. Instead of influencers and reality stars, you can now marvel at a declutterer, a nurse and a painter, among others, on a continuous loop.

The participants in the original reality format couldn’t be more different. While the youngest candidate is just 20 years old and has been doing competitive sports for 10 years, the two oldest candidates are both 55 and are nail salon owners and voice-over artists. - Maja, 25, self-employed restaurateur and operator of a franchise company
- Markus, 36, illustrator with a passion for beekeeping, playing bass and brewing beer
- Mateo, 46, family man and painter and varnisher
- Maxime, 20, wakeboarder
- Moritz, 23, sports-loving IT consultant
- Nicos, 27, car enthusiast and 80s fan
- Sandro, 23, driving instructor and tattoo fan
- Tanja, 55, runs her own nail salon and works in care for the severely disabled
- Yael, 29, trained hair and make-up artist who lives in Berlin and Mallorca
These are the nominated candidates in move-in week
In the old “Big Brother” style, residents are nominated, who can then be thrown out of the container during the weekly decision show. When we first moved in, we chose Nikos and Jacqueline after various games. Mateo, on the other hand, was able to protect himself. We’ll find out who has to leave the container first on March 11, 2024 on Sat.1 and Joyn.
