17 candidates initially moved into the container. Six residents have already had to leave the show. Instead of influencers and reality stars, you can now marvel at the “normal” candidates on a continuous loop.

The participants in the original reality format couldn’t be more different. While the youngest candidate is just 20 years old and has been doing competitive sports for 10 years, the two oldest candidates are both 55 and are nail salon owners and voice-over artists. - Angela, 49, niece of UN Secretary General and Nobel Peace Prize winner Kofi Annan as well as medium and Whitney Houston double
- Benedikt, 23, fresh out of journalism studies and globetrotter
- Christian, 26, trained sports and fitness clerk with a clearance company
- Frauke, 29, HR specialist with a love of karaoke
- Kevin, 29, hip-hop fan and salesperson
- Maja, 25, self-employed restaurateur and operator of a franchise company
- Markus, 36, illustrator with a passion for beekeeping, playing bass and brewing beer
- Mateo, 46, family man and painter and varnisher
- Nicos, 27, car enthusiast and 80s fan
- Tanja, 55, runs her own nail salon and works in care for the severely disabled
- Yael, 29, trained hair and make-up artist who lives in Berlin and Mallorca
Big Brother 2024: These candidates are out
On April 1, 2024, Maxime got more votes than Gema, so Gema had to leave the house. However, shortly afterwards Maxime decided to move out voluntarily, which is why two candidates are leaving the container for the second time in a row.
