Big Performance: Adele aka Patricia Kelly wins the music show

The Adele double won the grand finale of "Big Performance". An icon from the 1990s was hidden behind the mask.

On Saturday evening (October 3rd, also on TVNOW) the grand finale of "Big Performance – Who is the star in the star?" instead of. Prominent doubles of Tom Jones (80), Adele (32) and Mick Jagger (77) stood on stage in the last broadcast and tried to convince the audience and the jury. In the end, "Adele" took the trophy home with her. With the songs "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" and "Hello", she sang her way into the hearts of the audience and made the prominent advice team rave.

These stars are behind Adele and Tom Jones

Who hides behind the mask was an absolute mystery to the prominent advice team, consisting of Michelle Hunziker (43), Motsi Mabuse (39) and Guido Maria Kretschmer (55). "We still don't know!" Said Hunziker desperately just before the final between Tom Jones and Adele. "I believe that there is someone behind it who has had a long life as an artist," suspected Kretschmer.

And he should be right: Patricia Kelly (50) hid behind the British singing talent. "I almost didn't sign the contract out of sheer panic, but then I was able to overcome all my fears," she said after the unmasking and was visibly pleased with the victory.

Tom Jones had to admit defeat to the grandiose performance of Adele and made it to second place. No one less than actor Uwe Ochsenknecht (64) had turned into the British pop legend. Michelle Hunziker suspected this after the first appearance in the finals and should be right with her idea.

Martin Schneider alias Mick Jagger provided the laugh of the evening

The Mick Jagger double rocked the hall with classics like "Sympathy for the Devil" and "Satisfaction" – but could not prevail against its two competitors and was the first to be exposed. When the mask fell, Comedian Martin "Maddin" Schneider (56) grinned at the jury. The 56-year-old did not go home as the winner, but made for the laugh of the evening. It was due to a loose denture that Schneider wore to match the look of the Rolling Stones lead singer as closely as possible.

But the false teeth didn't want to hold up during his performance of "Sympathy for the Devil" and finally fell out of the comedian's mouth. But Schneider was not deterred and just kept singing. The jury could hardly stay in their chairs with laughter. "This is the most beautiful thing I've seen in 40 years of television," Hunziker hooted after his appearance. "Oh, that happens to the real Mick Jagger too," joked moderator Daniel Hartwich (42).
