With the hit show "The Masked Singer", ProSieben regularly secures dream quotas – now the competition is following suit. RTL is planning the new show "Big Performance – Who is the Star in the Star?" For the upcoming TV season. The station announced on Monday and promises "sensational transformations, grandiose music appearances and great fun".
In four planned shows, "celebrities will transform into their favorite music legend" – for example "Jennifer Lopez, Mick Jagger, Tom Jones, Katy Perry, Adele or Prince" – and will be recognized by the audience and a "panel of prominent faces" . Fans should quickly be reminded of "The Masked Singer", in which costumed stars must also be recognized based on their singing performance.
