OnePlus has announced its latest high-end smartphone in China: the OnePlus 12. The meeting was made with the fans: OnePlus presented today, Tuesday December 5, 2023, a new smartphone. This presentation took place only in China, before an international formalization which would be scheduled for January 23, 2024, one month before the opening of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Thus, like many competitors, OnePlus is bringing forward the announcement of its high-end model.

This new smartphone is, unsurprisingly, the OnePlus 12, the new standard-bearer of the alternative brand from Oppo which has been so talked about in leaks and rumors. It replaces the OnePlus 11 by providing a modernized technical sheet on many points. The screen is bigger. The processor is more powerful. Photo sensors are more relevant. The battery is more generous. All in a case that keeps the same trappings as those of the OnePlus 11: mineral glass on the faces, aluminum on the edges and a beautiful off-center photo module for the most beautiful effect. The OnePlus 12 benefits from a larger screen and a more powerful processor
Let’s go into detail about the changes to the technical sheet. The screen is slightly larger, going from 6.7 to 6.82 inches. Since 2021, OnePlus has not changed the size of its flagship. He is in slight increase compared to the price of the OnePlus 11 at its launch, with the same configuration: the OnePlus 12 with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage will be launched at 4,299 yuan (still 560 euros), compared to 3,999 yuan for its predecessor. This represents an increase of 7.5%. The most generous version, with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, will be priced at 5,799 yuan (around 750 euros).
