Darts prodigy Littler signs mega contract

Luke Littler could become a darts superstar in the coming years. In any case, the teenager will at least get rich: the vice world champion signs a big contract.
Thanks to his winning streak at the World Championships, which only ends in the final, Luke Littler has become a superstar in the darts scene. What’s special: During the heady weeks at Ally Pally in London, Littler is only 16 years old. A few days after the final defeat at the World Cup, the teenager won his first World Series title in Bahrain. On the way there he even managed a nine-darter in front of the cameras. The young Brit is already a big number. And that has long since paid off financially. As one of his partners announced, Littler has now signed the “biggest darts deal of all time,” as a British tabloid announced.
Littler is set to receive several million pounds from the darts manufacturer Target in the coming years, thereby setting new standards in the darts scene. “The Nuke is Team Target. We are pleased to announce the signing of Luke Littler. We look forward to supporting Luke as he takes the world by storm,” the company said in a statement to X.
The reported amount is based on potential earnings and bonuses over the next five to ten years, as well as a percentage of sales of products, merchandise and equipment. The partnership between Target and Littler has existed since he was 12 years old. The new contract is expected to run for five to ten years. Superstars Raymond van Barneveld and Phil Taylor, among others, are also under contract with the supplier.
It is “a very special moment to sign a long-term contract with Target Darts. I look forward to continuing this great relationship in the future,” said Littler, now 17 years old. This year he has already won 300,000 euros in prize money. Just a few days ago, Littler also signed a deal with the fashion retailer “boohooMAN”.
