Tokio Hotel singer stands up for gay sheep

Musician Bill Kaulitz makes a statement for gay sheep – and at the same time stands up for the rights of homosexuals.
Bill Kaulitz (35) is now an ambassador for gay sheep. He supports the “Rainbow Wool” farm of shepherd Michael Stücke in North Rhine-Westphalia. More than 20 homosexual rams live there and use the proceeds from their wool to finance projects that promote legal and social equality for homosexuals.
The Tokio Hotel singer is now the face of the brand and is presenting the first “Rainbow Wool” collection. This is an exclusive look that was created in collaboration with star designer Kilian Kerner (39) and Berlin couture designer Danny Reinke. According to the press release, these are the first pieces in the world to be made from the wool of gay rams.
Statement pieces are auctioned
The beige outfit features a jumpsuit made from wool hand-blended from all the breeds of the herd and a statement sleeve with sparkling draping and Swarovski crystals. It includes a dramatic coat from Kilian Kerner, also called “Drama Mantel”which impresses with puffy sleeves and extra length. According to the website The two unique pieces will be auctioned and the proceeds will be donated to the human rights organization LSVD+.
But the project can also be supported in a more reserved way: with subtle products such as shoelaces, patches or caps. It will probably not stop at this selection – Rainbow Wool is currently still looking for collaborations with fashion companies.

Of course, you can also sponsor a gay sheep directly. Kaulitz himself has sponsored two gay sheep: Karl and Wolli. Instagram page of “Rainbow Wool” Kaulitz is in a short video during his visit to the farm, where he has to laugh heartily at the sight of two sexually active animals and states: “Oh, he’s horny!”
Another video explains thisthat homosexuality is practiced by over 500 species in the animal kingdom. Sheep are at the forefront of this: one in twelve sheep is gay. According to the press release, gay sheep are often killed in industrial breeding due to their “low value”. On the “Rainbow Wool” farm, however, they are supposed to be able to live a long life.
