Awards will be presented in Las Vegas in mid-May

The Billboard Music Awards will be presented on May 15 this year. It is not yet clear which bands and artists will perform.
The 2022 Billboard Music Awards will be presented on May 15th. This was announced by the organizers and the US network NBC. The show is slated to return to Las Vegas this year and will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Numerous stars and prominent guests are expected to appear. However, who will be on stage and who will moderate the show will only be announced in the coming weeks.
The coveted Icon Award
Among other things, the Icon Award is to be presented again, with which artists are honored for their many years of service in the field of music. The singer Pink (42) was honored with the award in 2021. In previous years, Jennifer Lopez (52), Janet Jackson (55) and Prince (1958-2016) received the award.
Last year the Billboard Music Awards were presented in Los Angeles. The big winner of the evening was the singer The Weeknd (32), who was able to win ten prizes – including “Best Artist”. Rapper Drake (35) was honored as “Artist of the Decade”.
