Mysterious signs hint at new album
A sign of the third album? Billboards around the world were plastered with mysterious lyrics and Billie Eilish’s logo.
Multiple social media posts on X, TikTok and Instagram distributed the billboards with the notices on Tuesday. Although the singer’s name is not written anywhere, her well-known “Blohsh” symbol – a man with a shoulder hanging to the side – and supposed lyrics can be seen on the billboards. Among them, sentences like: “Did I cross the line?” (“Have I crossed the line?”), “I try to live in black and white” or “She’s the headlights I’m the deer.” “, I am the deer”).
These are probably new songs that Eilish is probably announcing with the campaign. Both the phrases and their logo are in bright blue – the same color that is currently replacing their profile pictures. It is not yet clear in which cities the advertising was shown. London, Toronto, New York, Sydney and Los Angeles are said to be among them.
Album has been finished since February
Eilish announced on Instagram on February 21st that a new album was already ready. To several photosin which she poses with a ski mask, she wrote simply: “My album is finished.”
Billie Eilish’s last long player, “Happier Than Ever”, was released in July 2021. It was her second effort after her debut and breakthrough album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” (2019). Most recently she made a name for herself with the song “What Was I Made For?” for the “Barbie” film, for which she and her brother and producer Finneas (26) received the Oscar for best song for the second time.
