Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher died four years ago. Her daughter Billie Lourd and co-star Mark Hamill remember the actress.

Actress Billie Lourd (28, "Booksmart") used Instagram to express her condolences to people who have lost relatives due to the corona pandemic. She herself remembered her late mother, Carrie Fisher (1956-2016). The "Star Wars" icon had died four years ago.

"My love and strength go to everyone out there who miss a loved one they have lost," Lourd wrote in her post. She is thinking especially of those "who lost someone in this crazy year. You are not alone". She also posted a picture in which she can be seen with her mother. Fisher, who rose to fame as Princess Leia, died on December 27, 2016 after a heart attack. Fisher's mother and Lourd's grandmother, Debbie Reynolds (1932-2016), died the next day of complications from a stroke.

Mark Hamill, 69, Fisher's co-star in the Star Wars franchise, also shared the actress on social media. He shared a screenshot of the "Star Wars" credits with the hashtag "ImmerBeiUns", which reads "In loving memory of our Princess Carrie Fisher".
