The recipe for bingsu, the Korean frosted dessert

You can use whatever you have in your cupboards and fridge. The recipe does not require any particular ingredient or technique, except for the crushed ice which you can buy as such in certain supermarkets or you can follow our recipe to make it like a pro!

Ingredients :

– 1 liter of crushed ice

– fresh seasonal fruits of your choice (mango, peach, nectarine, orange, red fruits, etc.)

– fruit coulis or condensed milk

– delicacies according to your desires: biscuits, sweets, pieces of chocolate or cereals.

Recipe :

  1. If you don’t have crushed ice, either use the function of your blender or use ice cubes wrapped in a tea towel. Using a rolling pin, tap on it to make small pieces of ice cream.
  2. In a deep plate, arrange the ice cream, sprinkle with coulis, fruit and small sweet treats of your choice. Serve immediately.

Tip: you can also sprinkle with grenadine syrup, for example, or simply replace the crushed water with frozen coffee or milk.
