Bio-UV: declining results in 2023, record free cash flow


(AOF) – Bio UV posts a net profit group share of 100,000 euros in 2023, compared to 2.4 million in 2024. The specialist in UV water treatment and disinfection systems achieved a turnover of 43.1 million euros, down 16% year-on-year. Ebitda is also down to 5.5 million euros compared to 7 million in 2022. At the end of March 2024, Bio-UV’s order book stood at 6.8 million euros, compared to 7.7 million last year at the same time. The group has set itself the objectives of “returning to organic growth in 2024 and improving its profitability”

The company highlights that its free cash flow stood at a record level of 4.3 million euros compared to 0.5 million in 2022 and 0.6 million in 2021. Thanks to this strong cash generation, it has was able to significantly reduce its bank debt by €3.0 million over the financial year.

Bio-UV has set itself the objective of achieving free cash flow similar to that of 2023 “in order to continue its financial reduction and provide financial room for maneuver for its future developments”.
